My room had these floor-to-ceiling windows that frame the city perfectly, and the bed — well, let’s just say I’ve stayed in plenty of hotels, and this one actually made me want to sleep in. The marble bathroom feels indulgent without being over the top, and there are these thoughtful touches like the perfectly positioned reading lights and USB ports exactly where you need them. The soundproofing is excellent too, which matters when you’re in such a central location.

  We always know that the Shangri-La hotels are synonymous with quality, especially the staff. Special thanks must go to Ms. Cindy Cheng from the front desk. Cindy went out of her way to help us book two museum visits, which proved to be the highlight of our trip. Wuhan is a beautiful city, so picturesque and full of culture. We definitely will return and sure stay again at the Shangri-La.
