The room I stayed in had floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the lake district, and the attention to detail was impressive. We’re talking Egyptian cotton linens, a marble bathroom with a soaking tub, and one of those rainfall showers that actually has decent water pressure. The minibar wasn’t outrageously priced either — always a pleasant surprise at luxury hotels. What really got me was the little touches: quality tea service, blackout curtains that actually work, and USB ports exactly where you need them.

The hotel restaurant serves excellent Cantonese cuisine, though I’d recommend trying some local spots too since you’re so well-positioned to explore. The spa facilities are top-notch if you need to unwind after navigating Wuhan’s bustling streets.
